I really have enjoyed every minute of reborning this beautiful, realistic baby. I have used the highest quality, non toxic materials, while reborning this little sweetheart. All of her photographs have been taken using natural daylight only, in order that you get the closest possible likeness, without meeting her personally. The varying lightness and darkness of the photographs, are due to the changes in daylight. All of her photographs have been taken at different times of the day, both inside and outside. For this reason, some may appear slightly darker. Many hours have been spent adding many transparent layers of paint to her skin, which has resulted in this very realistic, 3D skin effect, which picks up the light without adding any shine. Her skin has a very slight texture with no roughness at all. This amazing’peaches and cream’ skintone has been achieved using my own’special’ blend of Genesis Heat Set paints and Mediums, which are permanent and will not fade or chip over time. Her skin really does seem to’glow’ with life. I also added touches of moisture in all the right places, which all adds to her overall realism. I have taken lots of very clear photos, to give you a true representation of my work. I do hope that you enjoy looking at her beautiful pictures! Jewls sweet laughing mouth has been carefully hand painted in several very thin transparent layers, and then hightlighted in all the right places, to give a soft, plump 3D appearance. Her mouth has been triple sealed in both satin and gloss varnish, for a natural moist look. I have also very carefully, opened her tiny nose, and then carefully lined it with dark felt, so she can now’breathe’, giving a sense of depth and realism. Her cute button nose now looks slightly moist. From the tips of her toes, to every hair on her head, not a single detail has been missed, to make this little one, as realistic as they come! I have given Jewls the most amazing full head of baby blonde hair. Each individual hair has been micro rooted using the softest premuim mohair, and the tiniest of needles. This hair really does have to be seen to be believed! Her hair has been sealed on the inside with waterproof glue, so it can now be gently misted and restyled. Jewls is a collectable heirloom doll, not intended for children. She isn’t made for play but is to be held and handled as you would a real child. Reborn dolls do not conform to the safety standards that are recommended for childrens toys. Jewls feels just like a real baby in your arms. She has been very realistically weighted and now weighs a very healthy 4lb 9oz. I have delicately painted Jewls tiny nail beds, and tipped them in a very soft ivory. I then triple sealed each individual one, with a satin varnish, for that’freshly clipped’ look. Jewls has hand applied wispy eyelashes, which match the colour of her hair perfectly.
