I would like to thank the City of Reborn Angels so much for giving me the opportunity to reborn this glorious prototype’Raven’. Raven is a portrait baby sculpted by Ping Lau and is a wonderful representation of the original baby. With her pretty detailed colouring, the finest quality soft’newborn’ baby hair, her amazing sparkling deep newborn blue eyes and her lovely wardrobe (including a couture outfit especially created for her by’The House of Elegance’) Raven is as incredibly realistic as is possible to get! Our natural daylight is fading fast in the UK this time of year so I tried to take Raven’s photos in a variety of light to show how she looks in many situations which explains the variety in the subtleties of her colouring.. Raven is a prototype reborn from the Limited Edition’Raven’ kit sculpted by Ping Lau for’CORA. Full arms and legs. Tie on tummy plate. Gloriously fine baby hair created from the best kid mohair available. Entire baby weighted with specialist fillings. Realistic newborn baby size, Raven wears newborn sized clothes. Beautiful newborn blue crystal glass Lauscha eyes. Very realistic painted eyebrows. Beautifully coloured and textured’living’ skin. I have given baby Raven perfectly detailed, very slightly reddened but delicate colouring typical of a relaxed newborn baby. She has a gorgeous natural translucence to her skin and one or two very subtle areas of dry skin. Her rosy fingertips and toes are exquisitely detailed with perfect nails and tiny half moons. I work with Genesis heat set paints in many painstaking layers which produce an amazingly realistic life-like satin baby skin finish that is totally durable and permanent. Her skin is sealed with a specialised sealer to prevent the unnatural shine that occurs when the baby is dressed and undressed and provides a soft dewy finish. Raven has a very realistic directionally micro rooted head of beautifully fine and fluffy black newborn hair. It really does behave like the hair of a real infant and does not need constant attention to keep it looking so natural. Her head has been carefully sealed inside with waterproof glue so that her lovely baby fine hair can be carefully washed and styled easily. Baby Raven will come to you with the following.
