Melanie is a delightfully Chunky, soft bodied, 3 month old baby Girl. She is NOT silicone. She is NOT full bodied. She has a tummy posing plate. Length Her legs are slightly bent, one more than the other. If her legs were able to be straightened, she would be 23” long weight 8lbs 1 oz. Head circumference 15” Limbs: Soft vinyl. Full jointed legs and full arms. Body: Custom flesh doe suede, with gathered bottom, and gathered chest area. Legs are disc jointed. Soft body is Filled with All new premium quality. Filling Wrap around chubby belly posing plate. Soft golden brown Micro painted in a new baby style. Eyes : Full round solid Glass eyes. Sparkling Blue/ grey/ green. Adorable baby Melanie has been lovingly created using all new, high quality, time tested materials. Her custom made doe suede body is weighted with a fleece bag of securly contained premium, small round glass beads. She is filled medium firmly with soft fleece fiber puffs, with denser poly fill in her bottom and shoulder area for support. She can sit up on her own but her head is still wobbly and needs support. Her head/neck has been treated so that it turns smoothly. I have layer weighted her limbs with fine glass beads and fiber to make the perfectly balanced, firm yet squeezable and not too heavy! Melanie’s little nose has been artfully shaded for a realistic appearance of natural depth. It has not been cut opened. She has applied upper lashes Melanie has beautiful glass eyes in a deep blue shade with grey and green accents. Melanie has very detailed and natural looking eyebrows painted one hair at a time, Her kissable lips are painted with much detail in a deep shade that appears lighter in person. I never skimp on the detail of my dolls; it is one of my favorite parts of bringing them to life! Permanent”Baby FX” Reborn artist paints have been expertly applied, in very thin layers, over many days and heat set. My special techniques allow me to achieve a beautiful depth to the baby skin tone while keeping the translucent quality, and the smooth feel of this supple, soft vinyl! The paint was allowed to fully cure and then double sealed with a matte sealant that is smooth to the touch. I have included many large, clear close ups of every part of Melanie. If you Look very carefully at each picture. You can see how much time and effort went into creating her. Just look at her delicate natural looking fingernails and the subtle veining, milk dots, and many layers of undertone in her berries and cream skin, painted to replicate a baby of about 3 months. Melanie was photographed over the course of 4 days in all natural daylight. Her skin tone will vary slightly depending on the lighting she is viewed in but I feel I have captured it perfectly!
