Painted by myself Angela Jane Pennington. At AJP Doll Studio. Weight: 4 pounds 12 ounces. This beautiful little girl has been painted and matted in my own mix of Genesis heat set paint and varnishes which give a lifelike result with a gentle sheen and soft texture. There are a number of layers and great attention to detail has been given to veins, capillaries, nails, lips and creases. Zoey has full limbs on a custom made faux doe suede body. To give realistic movement and weight I have used the following fillings. Fibre fill in her head and top of limbs. Heavy virgin fibre fill in her body for weight and softness. Fine glass beads in her limbs. Non rusting steel weighting discs in her bottom and head for weight. Poly pellets in her body for movement. All fillings are new and recommended within the reborn industry. Zoey has a very strong magnet, so care must be taken around magnetic sensitive equipment such as pacemakers and credit cards. The hair has been micro rooted (one strand at a time) with dark brown Delta Dawn Mohair and sealed inside to prevent loss when styling. I hope you enjoy her many photos as you scroll down, I do not photoshop any of my photographs, they are taken inside my studio with the help of daylight bulbs to show the true colours, and daylight bulbs are only used if necessary due to our inclement British weather.
