This adorable and incredibly realistic baby girl’Maddie’ was lovingly reborn from the First Edition’Maddie’ vinyl doll kit by the very talented Bonnie Brown. This chunky baby girl is probably as close to a real baby as you will ever get and is a real armful of cuddles! She can take a magnetic pacifier. To create Maddie’s beautiful skin tone, I used Genesis heat set paints for translucency, durability and realism. Subtle tones, delicate shading and veining in all the right places give this baby an amazingly realistic and translucent skin tone. I have also given her’barely there’ eyebrows and microrooted her lashes! Maddie’s hair has been directionally microrooted just one or two hairs at a time. The effect is stunning and is just like looking at a real baby’s head of hair! I have used top quality baby blonde, beautifully soft and silky mohair. Fine kid mohair around her hairline recreates the peach fuzz found on young babies. Maddie’s open limbed cloth body is filled with fine glass beads, baby fat pellets and fiber fill for a soft and cuddly baby! Her head has not been weighted as she is an older baby who can support her own head. I have made the soles of Maddie’s feet and his hands a healthy pinkish colour, just as you would see in real babies. I have also added a little moisture to the corner of Maddie’s eyes and nose. I have also paid great attention to each one of her tiny finger and toe nails which have been coloured, sealed and tipped. When baby Maddie comes home to her new mummy she will bring with her all the clothes featured in the photographs as well as a talcum powder scented nappy, a dummy/pacifier, a birth certificate, and a Limited Edition Certificate.
