Reborn Cuddle Baby Alexis Asleep (sculpted by Cassie Brace) with Bountiful Baby Cloth Body & Silicone Baby Fat – Reborn by Katie Gannon of Yorkshire Rose Reborns. He’s been with me since he was created and I have taken excellent care of him. He has not been exposed to direct sunlight or heat. On the few occasions where I changed his clothing he was dressed from the feet upwards to avoid fabric being pulled over his face. I collect different types of dolls and treat them like works of art. He comes from a non-smoking household. Alexis is 21 long and weighs 6lbs (approximately). Alexis is a cuddle baby which means he has a vinyl head and a full disc jointed flesh coloured Bountiful Baby cloth body. This means he is super cuddly, yet still has the weight of a newborn. Alexis has rooted lashes and painted hair and is painted with Genesis heat set paint and sealed with matt heat set varnish, then finished with air dry gloss on the lips, nostrils and corners of the eyes to give a moisture look. All Katie’s Reborns are filled with high quality fine glass beads and extra soft Angel Silk. In addition, Alexis is filled with a high quantity of silicone baby fat. The silicone is situated in his limbs, bottom and stomach which makes him an extra cuddly cuddle baby. Alexis has a small defect inside of his mouth which occurred during the moulding and pouring process. The mouth is deep which makes it dark inside, thus making the defect difficult to see in most lighting. Katie has taken pictures so you can see for yourself. Alexis takes a modified dummy/soother. This is a regular dummy with a portion of the teat removed to fit in his mouth. He has no magnets due to him being an open mouthed sculpt. Alexis comes home in his original dungarees outfit along with a blanket, nappy, dummy and cuddly toy. Also included is his Yorkshire Rose Reborn certificate. Other clothes in the photos are not included but I have a collection of good quality clothing for him in 0-3 month size. If you need any further information or photos, please let me know. All photographs are taken in natural light. In a plain setting to show the quality of the baby. The photographs of this little sweetheart don’t do her justice, each of my toddlers and babies are created to be the ultimate in realism. Many hours of love and dedication have gone into making this baby. She is a true collectors item. I use my own technique, Perfect-Pore to create truly realistic skin tones. Baby’s skin tones have been achieved using Genesis heat set paints which will not fade or rub off. Many micro thin layers are used to build a wonderful textured appearance. The creases and wrinkles are blushed to perfection. Baby has veining and capillaries, beneath the skin surface, adding to the true realism of this baby. There are slight blue undertones where the skin in normally thinner. Finished with a special mix of my own making I have given this baby textured skin so it is amazing lifelike. Baby’s little fingers and toenails have been lightly shaded, lighted tipped, and sealed with artist varnish. Baby’s lips have been realistically tinted and finished with a satin varnish to add just a touch of sheen. They look amazingly real. Filled with loads of Tendertouch baby fat and topped with heavy virgin fibre fill for a cuddly feel, and weighted with steel shot encased in a bag of fabric. The limbs are filled with the finest glass beads and top with fibrefill before before sealed. Baby has full arms and full legs. Amazingly real skin tones. Rooted hair with quality mohair, single strand. Baby has a faux suede body with non jointed arms and legs. Ultra close up of Perfect-Pore skin technique. Artful babies adoption folder with.
