Baby Kate is 19 inches long and weighs 4 pounds and 6 ounces. She has 3/4 movable limbs and a movable bald head. Her lashes are rooted and sealed. I painted her with Genesis paints giving her mottled skin, veins and blushed areas. The last coat was a protective varnish. She’s weighted with triple bagged fine glass beads and tiny steel beads. The limbs are partially filled with the glass beads followed by a poly filling. The head and body are stuffed with the poly filling also. Her body isn’t the kind with pleats, rather it’s the oval shape which I think gives her a chubbier look and a more cuddly feel. She has one magnet for her pacifier. I dressed her in a diaper, a new Carter’s sleeper/romper in size newborn, a new hat and a headband. She’ll come to you with her things, wrapped in a new blanket and securely packed.
