Full Body Reborn Harry- Doll Therapy for People with Alzheimer & Caregiver
Reborn babies by Gigi are as close to the real thing as you can get! They are custom made from quality materials one by one and therefore are NON-RETURNABLE. Each baby takes between 25 to 40 hours to create and incorporates quality materials to bring them to life. Oil-based paints applied in 11 layers, heat set, and cooled between each layer; soft doe suede body; mohair for hair and lashes, which is micro rooted with a fine felting needle; and micro glass beads for weighting the head and bottom for the feel of a real baby. In the final stages of the process, a scented wafer (optional) is folded into the fiber fill of the body for that freshly-bathed baby smell. These babies range in length from 18″ – 20″ and the weight is around 4 – 5 lbs for the Alzheimer’s community. They take Baby Doll Therapy to a whole other level. Sleeping Harry is extra special in that he includes a full vinyl torso! Please note the body is not all one piece and there are areas where you can see a bit of the cloth body underneath… This is normal in the reborn market. He comes with an extra outfit, birth cert (upon request), care instructions and baby brush. Harry will also have the regular doe suede body underneath the full body torso if you ever want to go to the soft, squishy body. Harry is a 20 newborn. He weighs approximately 5.5 pounds. He has a “newborn” complexion. He has the little newborn pin-prick on the bottom of his foot just as new babies do! I only use high quality materials for my dolls, inside and out. I use many layers of heat set paint to achieve a realistic baby skin tone. Fine details; veins, tipped nails, and moisture is added where needed; eyes, nose, lips. Baby’s paint is sealed with my own special blend to reduce shine and protect the paint. Weighted with fine glass beads in all the right places. I use Angel Silk Unbelievably Soft Polyester stuffing. Its the softest thing Ive ever felt! Baby will come home to you with a nice box opening. Like he was “just born” to you!
