Reborn Baby Dolls Fake Baby by Artful Babies. Reborn from the gorgeous Zoey by Cassie Brace. Limited Edition 44 / 500. The photographs of this little sweetheart don’t do her justice, each of my toddlers and babies are created to be the ultimate in realism. Many hours of love and dedication have gone into making this baby. She is a true collectors item. Baby’s skin tones have been achieved using Genesis heat set paints which will not fade or rub off. Many micro thin layers are used to build a wonderful textured appearance. There is no paint sat on the vinyl, it is cured so that only pigment remains. The creases and wrinkles are blushed to perfection. Baby has veining and capillaries, beneath the skin surface, adding to the true realism of this baby. There are slight blue undertones where the skin in normally thinner. Finished with a special mix of my own making I have given this baby textured skin so it is amazing lifelike. Baby’s little fingers and toenails have been lightly shaded, lighted tipped, and sealed with artist varnish. Baby’s lips have been realistically tinted and finished with a satin varnish to add just a touch of sheen. They look amazingly real. Filled with the heavy virgin fibre fill for a cuddly feel, and weighted with steel shot encased in a bag of fabric. The limbs are filled with the finest glass beads and top with fibrefill before before sealed. Baby has full arms and full legs. Amazingly real skin tones. Painted hair so it always looks neat. For colouring I always use Genesis paints wich will never fade or rub off. Zoey´s skin has been build up in many thin layers to give her the realistic look of a newborn. I paint in thin layers to leave a beautiful flawless smooth finish and give her a velvety soft skin. Zoey´s doe suede body, her head and limbs are filled and weighted with mineral granulate. I never used sand. Every single hair on Zoey´s little head is mono- or single-rooted. Single-hair-rooting takes many ours – much longer than normal micro-rooting. But the result is truly beautiful and absolutely unrivalled. Zoey has high quality extremly soft angora kid mohair in natural babybrown. Her hair is totaly straight and it stays that way, even if you style it or make it wet. Her eyebrows are micro-painted, her lashes are rooted. Zoeys hair is sealed from the inside for gently styling. She has wonderful naturally painted lips. I have tipped and sealed her tiny nails and lightly glossed them which gives a wonderful just cut. This beautiful little girl has been painted and matted in my own mix of Genesis heat set paint and varnishes which give a lifelike result with a gentle sheen and soft texture. There are a number of layers and great attention to detail has been given to veins, capillaries, nails, lips and creases. Zoey has full limbs on a custom made faux doe suede body. To give realistic movement and weight I have used the following fillings. Fibre fill in her head and top of limbs. Heavy virgin fibre fill in her body for weight and softness. Fine glass beads in her limbs. Non rusting steel weighting discs in her bottom and head for weight. Poly pellets in her body for movement. All fillings are new and recommended within the reborn industry. Zoey has a very strong magnet, so care must be taken around magnetic sensitive equipment such as pacemakers and credit cards. The hair has been micro rooted (one strand at a time) with dark brown Delta Dawn Mohair and sealed inside to prevent loss when styling.
