Ideal Playpal Doll PENNY
Vintage dolls are not new anymore and can have imperfections from being played with or stored improperly. The vinyl have can marks including stains from clothing, vinyl fading, yellowish and scratches. Vintage Ideal Penny Doll. Considering age, Penny is in good played with condition. She has scratches/spots/age marks consistent with age and years of play and love. Penny hair still has a good curl but could be styled and maybe washed. Penny’s right eye sticks at times but can be gently opened. Penny has a stain on the left arm that looks like a stain from a previous outfit, see pictures. Stain does not show when she is dressed. NO BODY, BUTT OR LEG CRACKS, see pictures. Bottom of feet are rough and dirty looking but they do not show or distract from her when she is wearing shoes. Penny is wearing a vintage used Bryan baby dress in good condition. She has a NEW pair of white panties and NEW white socks. She is wearing a NEW pair of REPRODUCTION black shoes MADE ESPECIALLY for the PENNY dolls. Overall this is a very sweet doll from the 50-60’s that some little girl loved and played with. EVEN WITH HER FAULTS, PENNY IS STILL A VERY SWEET DOLL. Please look at the pictures carefully – they are part of the description. Please contact me with any questions. My home is smoke free. Ideal Playpal Penny Doll
Vintage dolls are not new anymore and can have imperfections from being played with or stored improperly. The vinyl have can marks including stains from clothing, vinyl fading, yellowish and scratches. Vintage IDEAL PENNY doll. NO BODY, BUTT OR LEG CRACKS on doll. Normal marks and scratches on doll consistent with being loved and played with. Penny’s face has very good coloring. There is a teeny tiny mark on cheek, see picture #4. Her pretty blue sleep eyes are in good working condition, clean with no missing lashes. Her hair looks to be in the original set, looks age dirty with some matting with age but not played with condition. Penny’s dress is original, age faded, discolored and dirty. There has been some mending at the sleeve lace and back at the waist. Please use ZOOM on pictures. The slip is very fragile, torn in the front and back, the panties have no elastic and are held on with a pin in waist. Doll has on vintage black shoes and dirty white socks. I don’t know if they are her original shoes/socks but they fit and look good on her. Doll socks are very dirty from age and one has a hole. I do not know if they are her original socks. Penny needs a bath to freshen her up and a new slip for under her original dress. The original slip is very bad condition, see pictures. Penny stands on her own but I kept her on a doll stand for extra support due to her size. DOLL STAND IS NOT INCLUDED. Please don’t expect dolls this era to be perfect. Ideal Toy Corp Bye Bye Baby original vintage Playpal vinyl doll. Good condition
This handsome little fella is in quite good condition considering how loved hes been for many many years. His eyes open and close smoothly. His little arms can be posed. He can sit upright unassisted. His strings are intact. His eyelashes are full and complete. He has some shallow superficial scratches on his torso and two tiny dings on his little bum. The coloring of one of his eyes has flaked off but doesnt affect his good looks at all. His arms, legs, hands and feet are perfect. The painted-on hair has flaked off in some areas but is still aesthetically pleasing. He also comes with both outfits shown. This doll was never given a name or a gender so the choice is yours as to whether hes a little boy or shes a little girl. Comes from a smoke free environment.
