I only use the best supplies available and I weight my babies so realistically you would swear you are holding a real baby. I use Genesis heat set paints. Baby Josie is 20 inches in length was created from the sweet’Josie’ sculpt by Ping Lau. She has now been through a’reborn’ process to produce this beautifully realistic baby. It must be stressed that, due to safety standards for toys, this baby is no longer suitable for young children and is considered a collectable doll and not a toy. Baby has full vinyl arms, full vinyl legs and a jointed cloth body. She has been painted using the finest quality Genesis heat-set paints. Her skin tones have been created using many colours, layers and painting methods to achieve an amazingly realistic result! Skin has beautiful , soft mottling and a subtle, soft textured finish. Her nose has been shaded to create depth and her little nails tipped and glossed to add to her realism. Baby has been weighted perfectly with the highest quality fillings to feel like a real baby! Limbs: Part-filled with fine glass granules and topped with quality fibre fill. Head: Filled with fibre fill and weighted with a pouch of steel pellets. Body: Jointed Cloth body is filled with quality fibre fill. A pouch of steel pellets have been added to create extra weight. Josie has hand painted hair using many shades of browns/blondes to add depth and realism. Her delicate, newborn eyebrows have also been hand painted, and her eyelashes hand rooted with quality mohair. Please remember that this baby is aimed at adult/young adult collectors. The skin of this beautiful little baby boy is very tender, like a real baby. I use a lot of thin layers , so the skin is transparent. I use paint Genesis, they will never spoil. Baby has natural texture of the skin, like a real baby. I use a lot of colors for painting of infants by mixing shades of paint. The last layer is covered with MattVarnish. He has 1/1 arms and 1/1 legs. I have a lot of pictures so you could see the little details. All pictures were taken during at different time of the day. BABY HAIR BABY HAIR. Baby hair has been directionally microrooted one hair at time. I use wonderful Delta Dawn and premium mohair. I rooted hair one by one this is achieved by long labour. Baby’s hair will always be gentle and silk. This fine head of hair has been sealed from with special glue so that her hair can be gently washed. Baby also has micro-rooted lashes.
