Our reborn babies are quite real looking! They are hand made one by one and are therefore Non-Returnable. Each baby takes between 25 to 40 hours to create and incorporates quality materials to bring them to life. They begin with a blank special vinyl sculpture. Oil-based paints applied in 11 layers, heat set, and cooled between each layer; soft doe suede cloth ; mohair for hair and lashes, which is micro rooted with a fine felting needle; and micro glass beads for weighting the head and bottom for the feel of a real baby. In the final stages of the process, a baby powder wafer is folded into the fiber fill of the body for that freshly-bathed baby smell. These babies range in length from 18″ – 20″ and the weight is around 4 – 5 lbs. Biracial baby girl Sheliah is special and is ready to be held and cared for by your loved one! She has 3/4 limbs and a soft torso for cuddling. She comes dressed along with an extra outfit. Sheliah also come with a new baby brush, birth certificate (upon request) and care instructions.
