Layers of mottling, blushing , veins and flesh colors to create a one of a kind realistic reborn doll. She was finished with a matte varnish to prevent her from being shiny and seal the layers of paint. Little finger and toe nails are tipped and finished with a gloss finish, lips and nostrils also have the shiny finish. She was rooted with Light Brown Mohair which is sealed on the inside. So you can wet and style her hair. I recommend using a baby soft toothbrush instead of a comb and brush. She has rooted eyelashes, 1 magnet in her head for a magnet pacifier and 1 for magnet hair accessory. Magnets can cause problems with pace makers and other devices, so take care. She has a doe suede body with 3/4 jointed arms and legs. The body and limbs are filled with fine glass beads and fiber filling. She has a baby powder insert in her body to keep her smelling like a new baby. 18 long and weight is approx. She wears newborn size clothes and diapers. Martina’s Babies reborn Edwin by Elisa Marx, so real newborn crying baby doll
On the day 31/05/2018 a warm bundle fell in the cradle.. 2.150 Kg / 4 lbs 50 cm / 20 in Edwin by Elisa Marx. Hand painted with Genesis heat set paints – Sealed with Matte Varnish – Full vinyl arts – Jointed cloth body – Micro-rooted eyelashes, color baby brown – Painted hair, color baby brown – Filled with special glass beads and polyfill (NO SAND). I realized Paolo taking care of the smallest details, from the 3D effect of the skin, veins and small capillaries under the skin until the redness and scratches characteristic of infants. He has even some birthmarks in the shape of a heart and fine capillaries also in the ears! The nails of the hands and feet are painted just like that of a real baby. He has even the milk spots on the nose! I painted the thin Paolo’s hair one by one, layer upon layer, in order to reproduce the movement of the hair of a real baby. I remove the magnet on request – Birth Certificate. And I won the Best Reborn Painting. NB: she isn’t a game! The reborn doll was made by me with the heart, was born after many hours of work, attention to details, to look like as much as possible to a real baby.
