She is petite and incredibly realistic from the top of her lovely soft head to the tip of her toes. I have given her gentle newborn colouring and the most beautiful blue newborn eyes that look so trustingly into your own. She is one of those precious sculpts that’speak’ to you and really do have a life of their own. I hope you love her as much as I do! Our natural daylight is fading fast in the UK this time of year so I tried to take Daisy’s photos in a variety of light to show how she looks in many situations which explains the variety in the subtleties of her colouring.. There is an incredible amount of detail on this sweet baby girl and I have given her a lot of newborn characteristics such as the tiniest scratch on her cheek. She has a gorgeous natural translucence to her skin and one or two very subtle areas of dry skin. Her rosy fingertips and toes are exquisitely detailed with perfect nails and tiny half moons. I work with Genesis heat set paints in many painstaking layers which produce an amazingly realistic life-like satin baby skin finish that is totally durable and permanent. Her skin is sealed with a specialised sealer to prevent the unnatural shine that occurs when the baby is dressed and undressed and provides a soft dewy finish. Daisy has a very realistic, directionally micro rooted head of beautifully fine and’newborn fluffy’ dark brown hair. It really does behave like the hair of a real infant and does not need constant attention to keep it looking so natural. Her head has been carefully sealed inside with waterproof glue so that her lovely baby fine hair can be carefully washed and styled easily. This adorable baby girl has a tie on tummy plate that can be easily removed when not used so that the baby retains her cuddliness. She has the most beautiful blue eyes that are infinitely realistic and especially made with a slightly tinted sclera typical of newborn babies that adds so much to her realism. This listing is for a CUSTOM MADE Gemma Sculpt, which means, you choose your specification or opt for a duplicate of any of the sample photos! And I make it for you! Doll completion takes about FOUR weeks! Gemma is a beautiful NEW RELEASE sculpt by the talented Donna RuBert. She was just recently released and you can be one of the first to have her! You can choose that Gemma comes dressed as a girl or a boy. She will be adorable either way! At 19 long and weighing roughly 5-7lbs she will feel just like a real baby in your arms! She will be hand painted and sealed with fine quality air dry paints, which are non-toxic, and once cured become permanent. I use several thinned layers to create that”living skin” appearance and life-like quality in all of my dolls. Painting details will include skin, brows, nails, hair, veining and blemishes. You can choose her skin tone and hair color and style. (Hair will be be painted not rooted) Her lashes will be hand rooted to match her hair color. Gemma has 3/4 arms and legs with a super sturdy, fully jointed DOE SUEDE body. She will be perfectly weighted with fine glass beads, plastic pellets, and soft polyfil. All of my babies have a very natural/floppy fell to them and curl right up in your arms. She also will come with a hand painted removable belly/chest plate for posing and picture taking! Each doll is given unique characteristics, such as scratches, textured skin, milk bumps, petichia, capillaries, and beauty marks. We paint, using many thin layers to acquire depth, texture, and contour. When we are finished, the skin tones are amazingly realistic! HAND PAINTED HAIR We pride ourselves on exquisite hair painting. Each tiny hair is a hand stroke. She has been given a varying color of blonde peach fuzz undertones, with varying medium and dark brown underones. We strive for depth for ultimate realism. When finished, we top it off with a texture medium and give it a sheen.. It’s amazingly realistic and will last a lifetime!! . OPENED NOSTRILS; we gently open each of our doll’s nostrils, and back with felt for depth. We put a slight amount of moisture in the nostrils for added realism. MOUTH: her little lips has been painted using different shadings, that are carefully highlighted and blended for dimension. We give a slight gloss for a moisture appearance. EYEBROWS :we have given her “barely there” eyebrows that match her hair. We are careful with each stroke, to make sure they look as natural as a real baby. EYELASHES- We have given her beautiful wispy lashes to match her hair. BR>FINGERS AND TOES: her fingers and toes and shaded and blushed to a natural perfection. Each little crease is shaded. She is given a slight bluing such as in the arch of the foot and at the wrists, for an ultimate realism. Her finger and toenails are tipped with an ivory color for a manicured look, and then sealed. BODY: She has a full body that is very soft silicone like vinyl.. Her body is weighted with glass granules and stuffed with premium stuffing, We will gladly send a sample of weighting material per request. Her little head is weighted, just like a real baby’s.. So her little head has to be supported when you hold her. She has full length arms and legs WONDERFUL BABY FRESH SCENT: We give each of our dolls an irresistable wonderful baby powder fresh scent.
