1991 Dreamer-Like Molly HTF Pleasant Company American Girl Doll with Meet Outfit
1991 Dreamer-Like Molly Vintage Pleasant Company American Girl Doll with Meet Outfit. Rare and hard to find. This beautiful vintage doll has been dated at 1991, so while she has a tan body, she’s very close in age to white body dolls, with many of the same features like soft squishy vinyl, a chubby body, soft brown eyelashes, and finer hair. She has a special unique feature of Dreamer-Like eyes, where her irises are a bit smaller and she appears to be gazing up. This is a very hard to find feature, usually found only in (very expensive) 1987 white body dolls. Molly is all original, I got her from her original owner who received her as a child, and no repair or restoration work has been done on her. She is in excellent condition, particularly for her age, with soft, beautiful hair that’s never been cut. There’s a bit of dryness at the ends, as is to be expected, but nothing major. Her wig is thinner than newer dolls, consistent with her date. She has an early wig cap and neck stamp that aided in her dating. Molly has no marks on her soft vinyl or cloth body, not even age spots. No silver eye, as is so common for older dolls. Her lashes are soft and full. She has somewhat loose limbs but can stand unassisted. She will come with her original meet outfit, including her sweater, skirt, collar, bloomers, and shoes. Baby is ready to shipp. Sculpt: Ping Ping by Ping Lau. Hihgt: 49 cm 19 inch. You cannot turn, the head is firmly attached so that it does not fall off. Hair: painted to look like the real hair. Eyes : high quality and realistic with acrylic in color ethic brown. Painting : Baby is painted by Heat Set Genesis paints, original from USA. Painted in several layers and baked at high temperature. Does not use Heat Set Matte Varnish, that why the “skin” is smooth to the touch. Baby is made of vinyl (head, hands and legs), the torso is vinyll too. The doll is not made of silicone!! There is fabric body inside body of vinyl. Head: the head should be held as with a real baby Arms : full Legs: full Body: full with material inside The body is perfumed with an oil with the scent of baby powder, if you are allergic or do not want the fragrance, contact with me. The doll is made entirely of vinyl and although the vinyl does not fit in the arms like a doll with a cloth body. The doll can sit alone. Movement of the head, hands and legs is difficult due to the construction of this doll. The head and limbs and body are filled with glass microgranules and a silicone ball (wadding). The baby will come with. Magnetic pacifier or no magnetic pacifier. Certificate of birth. Hats and outfits made of wool, dressing-gown, all kinds of fur, blankets, pillows and other materials in the photos toys, teddy bears, decorations, flowers. All these are just decorations. All photos are made by me. I do not use fotoshop.
