Reborn Doll, Bountiful Baby Realborn Christopher Awake, BooBoo, Ready to Ship
ADORABLE – ADORABLE – ADORABLE!!!! This is an absolutely adorable, realistic, Bountiful Baby Realborn. Christopher has full limbs and a doe suede body. He is so cute and so precious. These are photos of the actual doll that you will receive. I hand-painted him and photographed him and he is the doll you will receive. I do not use photos of prototype dolls. I painted him with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. I added subtle mottling and veins. He is sealed with a matte finish so he doesn’t get shiny. I added a gloss finish to his nails, mouth, nose and corners of his eyes. I even added nail tips. He has baby grey glass oval eyes. He has open nostrils which are backed with black felt for a realistic look. I hand rooted wavy brown mohair to his scalp and eyelashes. I glued the mohair to the inside of his head with industrial strength glue. His eyebrows are painted. Care should still be taken when brushing or styling the hair. His limbs, head and body are weighted with fine premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester Poly-Fil so he feels like a real baby in your arms. He is slightly boo boo. I had trouble rooting his eyelashes, so they are not perfect. Also, while rooting them, the rooting needle hub rubbed against his right upper cheek below his eye and rubbed some of the paint off. Since I use heat set paints, I could not paint and reheat because I had already rooted his hair. Therefore, I used a little extra pink paint and used a heating tool to set the paint on his cheeks. The paint is a darker than I like it. But he is still very very cute. He has a strong earth magnet glued to the inside of his head behind his mouth so that he can take a magnetic pacifier. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets. Weight – 4 pounds, 13 ounces. Height – 18.5 inches. He will come home to his new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper and the green romper and hat as shown in the photos. He will be wrapped in a blanket. He will also come home with his pacifier and an extra outfit. He comes with a COA. The bear is a prop only and is not included in the sale. I will securely package him so that he will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions. These dolls are considered art dolls and are not meant for child’s play.
