Beautiful “Ginny” 35 companion, playpal sized doll, She was only made in 1960, and by Vogue Doll Company. She resembles the popular “Patti” playpal doll, but I think her features are prettier. We have had several of these pretty big girls. She stands 35 tall, wears approx. A child’s size 2t in clothing. Gorgeous DARK Brown long hair. Her eyes are a striking blue color, open and close with all her lashes. She holds poses nicely and her joints are all nice and tight. Her heels each have small creases (SEE PICS) which are covered by her shoes. She is dressed in a beautiful Green and Navy blue plaid school girl dress someone has at some point, let her hem out, if you were to hem it again, either length will suit her just fine. Underneath her dress is an attached tulle type lining skirt adding fullness. She is also wearing a white dress slip and her original vintage shoes, black Mary Jane style, rubber. She comes with her sweet teddy bear she is holding. The last photo above shows Ginny with some of her friends who are being listed separately! A gorgeous doll you are sure to treasure, wonderful addition to any doll collection! The dolls have all been extremely well loved and well cared for, many include their original layettes, furniture and accessories. Most of the items are from the 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s. Please keep in mind, this dates them to anywhere from 60-90 years old! Many, if not most, of the items are in remarkable condition despite their age. The owner of these dolls is now retiring and downsizing their estate, after several years of doll collecting. The dolls are display ready unless otherwise indicated.
