The baby started out as the amazing’Levi’ sculpt by sculpting artist Heike Kolpin. I do hope that you enjoy looking at all of the beautiful pictures. I really have fallen in love with this gorgeous baby girl. All of my photographs have been taken using the’SUPER MACRO’ setting, and natural daylight only, in order that you get the closest possible likeness of the baby, without meeting her personally. Baby Clover will be an adorable addition to any collection. I have used’the’ highest quality, non toxic materials, while reborning this amazing baby. I have added very delicate veining to the thinner parts of Clover’s skin, giving a very realistic, newborn complexion. These amazing skin tones have been achieved using my own’special’ blend of Genesis Heat Set paints and mediums, which are permanent and will not fade over time. The paint has been applied in very thin transparent layers, producing this very realistic, slightly textured 3D skintone. Clover’s tiny mouth has been hand painted in very thin transparent layers, and then triple sealed in both satin and gloss varnish, for a natural moist look. I have also very carefully, opened her tiny nose, and then carefully lined it with dark felt, so she can now’breathe’, giving a sense of depth and realism. Her cute button nose now looks slightly moist. Here you can see some of the amazing details, on Clover’s tiny hand and feet. I have delicately painted his tiny nail beds, and tipped them in a very soft ivory. I then triple sealed each individual one, with a satin varnish, for that’freshly clipped’ look. This scuplt really does have the most amazing detail! From the tips of her tiny toes, to every hair on her head, not a single detail has been missed, to make this little one, as realistic as they come! This really is one of the most amazing sculpts, I have had the pleasure to work on. The detail, that Heike has managed to captured is absolutely amazing. Seems to change at different angles. I cannot help myself, from taking another peek at her. She truly is a delight! Clover’s hair has been’micro rooted’ with lots of individual hairs, producing this amazing head of dark brown baby hair. Each hair was rooted over a number of days and hours, using a tiny 43g needle, and the softest premium mohair, specially imported from the U. Each strand of mohair lays the way a real baby’s hair would lay, which creates a realistic,’lifelike crown’. This Mohair is the softest that I have ever used, it really does feel like very fine, baby soft hair. I do hope that you agree that this beautiful head of hair was well worth all of the effort. Once I was happy with her hair, I carefully sealed it from the inside, so it can now be gently misted and re-styled. This hair has to be seen to be believed! It is also worth noting that baby Clover contains no magnets, Therefore she is safe around pacemakers, memory chips, credit cards etc. Clover is a sleeping baby, so I have carefully micro rooted her eyelashes. I have also given her barley there, slightly textured 3D baby eyebrows. This baby has the most perfectly detailed three quarter arms and legs. Her’s limbs, have been carefully weighted, using the finest glass granules, and then topped with the softest fibre. I have weighted her suede body with a combination of baby fat and very soft fibre, which makes her easy to pose and very cuddly too. Her little head has also been weighted for that natural feel, and will need to be supported, just as you would a real newborn baby. Not only is Clover a realistic looking baby, she has also been very realistically weighted now weighs a very healthy 4Lb 8oz and fits perfectly into size Newborn baby clothes. My babies are created and cared for in a smoke and pet free environment. Lorraine X And of course Baby Clover.
