Reborn Baby Art Dolls by Artful Babies. Reborn from the gorgeous Lucy by Tina serenity. Limited Edition 574 / 1900. The photographs of this little sweetheart don’t do her justice, each of my toddlers and babies are created to be the ultimate in realism. Many hours of love and dedication have gone into making this baby. She is a true collectors item. Baby’s skin tones have been achieved using Genesis heat set paints which will not fade or rub off. Many micro thin layers are used to build a wonderful textured appearance. There is no paint sat on the vinyl, it is cured so that only pigment remains. The creases and wrinkles are blushed to perfection. Baby has veining and capillaries, beneath the skin surface, adding to the true realism of this baby. There are slight blue undertones where the skin in normally thinner. Finished with a special mix of my own making I have given this baby textured skin so it is amazing lifelike. Baby’s little fingers and toenails have been lightly shaded, lighted tipped, and sealed with artist varnish. Baby’s lips have been realistically tinted and finished with a satin varnish to add just a touch of sheen. They look amazingly real. Filled with the heavy virgin fibre fill for a cuddly feel, and weighted with steel shot encased in a bag of fabric. The limbs are filled with the finest glass beads and top with fibrefill before before sealed. Baby has full arms and full legs. Amazingly real skin tones. Hair is combi and is both painted and rooted with quality mohair. Baby has a faux suede body with non jointed arms and legs. Pic below shows baby in just the non jointed body. He will fit perfectly in Early-Tiny baby clothing. He will Weigh approx – 4lb. I Lightly paint my dolls using the same techniques and paint mix of genesis heat set paints. (These paints are non toxic and will not fade or rub off as I heat set each part). I then hand Paint hair which also gets heat set and hand root eyelashes which are sealed inside to prevent them falling out for open eyed dolls I use a special craft glue to secure lashes. Each doll gets weighted evenly with glass beads in limbs, head and bottom to around 4lbs. And stuffed with soft Fibre Fill ready for a cuddle. These dolls have 3/4 limbs which get sewn on to a soft cloth body with a zip tie to secure the weighted head. You will need to support the baby doll when holding her/him like you would a real baby. I fit a Magnet in each of my baby dolls heads to enable a magnetic dummy to hold against dolls mouth. (if no magnet is required please message at checkout – these strong magnets are not suitable to be around people with pacemakers). Using only the best quality materials, I have put a lot of time, love, care and attention into my work. Xander can wear 6 lb tiny Newborn size Baby clothing. I’m sure Xander. A final thin Layer of Satin Varnish has been added to to give the skin a slightly 3 d texture and this also protects the paint. Head with the finest premium quality mohair in Medium Dark Brown. I then sealed it from the inside so you are able to gentle wet and style Xander’s. Hair to your likes. Has wispy rooted Eye Lashes. Xander has a beige non jointed body with front loading legs, which I filled with a combination of Glass Beads and Fibre Fill to give Xander. A soft cuddly realistic Feel. The limbs have been weighted with micro fine Glass Beads and topped with Fibre Fill and then have been sealed. His head is weighted with Glass Beads and surrounded with Fibre Fill , you will need to support his little head when picking him. Up just like you would do with a real Baby. On the inside of Xander’s mouth is a strong magnet fitted to hold his Dummy in place. Please consider that therefore Xander should not come in contact with anyone with a Pacemaker and also shouldn’t be close to any electrical equipment.
