My name is Kimberly Gardino from Beach Babies Reborn Nursery and I welcome you to my listing! This baby is made from the adorable newborn sculpt “Joy” sculpted by Adrie Stoete. Such a sweet lil’face! I paired her head with full Stoete limbs. For the purposes of this listing I will be referring to her as a girl but I can send her home with more “boyish” things if you prefer her to come home as a boy. I painted her with a medium Caucasian skintone that is warm and very detailed with lots of mottling, blushing, depth areas and veining. It is truly “peaches and cream” and makes her look very soft. I used Genesis and Authentic Reborn brands heat set paints to paint her which are the most durable paints for painting vinyl dolls at this time. This paint doesn’t fade, chip or crack. She is a sleeping baby and I gave her lovely rooted lashes that perfectly match her rooted light-fawn/dark brown combo premium mohair, micro-rooted hair. Her hair is a combinaion of kid fiber at her temples and yearling fiber everywhere else. She has painted brows and a tiny bit of painted fine baby hairs at her temples that match the rest of her rooted hair perfectly. She is finely matted with Genesi. S Matte Varnish which will protect her paint for many years and retard shine but it doesn’t feel rough. Her nails, and in her mouth and lower lip have been lightly glossed with a durable air dry satin-gloss varnish. She has full limbs and she makes very cute photoshoots and she is assembled on a non-jointed doe suede body with front-loading legs that is very cuddly and poseable for the cutest photoshoots ever! I took a few photos of her in just a diaper so you can see what her body looks like. She truly is one of the cutest babies I have ever done. She is very newborny! I stuffed and weighted her with glass beads in her head and limbs, poly pellets in her body and cluster fill in every part so she is soft and floppy and will need her head supported like a real new baby. She cannot sit up on her own. I call it a “sink-in-your-arm” feel. She’s what I would call “average-sized newborn” at approx. 19 measured around her knee bends and weighs about 6.5lbs. Although I can lighten her some if you wish. She was assembled on February 9th, 2020. She wears size 1 or NB in diapers and size 0 in newborn crib shoes, socks and booties. She is free of any magnets and she as no scented wafer. She will come home with the clothing she is wearing in her pictures(gender specific). Plus she’ll come home with a few extra things depending on if you want her to be a boy or girl. She will also be sent home with a lovey toy, blanket, brush/comb set, magnetic hairbows and pacifier(If you decide you’d like me to add the magnets), COA, birth certificate and care instructions from my nursery. Please keep in mind, the magnets that could be used are very strong Rare Earth neodymium magnets and people with pacemakers are not supposed to be in close proximity to them. It’s no problem and doesn’t cost extra. Other than that I have no problem with new ebayers. Sorry for the hassle but we need to protect ourselves. Sorry for any inconvenience. This will likely never happen as I provide lots of unretouched pictures and offer to take as many as you need. The only altering I do of my photos is cropping.
