I dye my babies exclusively with Genesis Artist Colors in a real-life technique is applied in several layers , and then baked in the oven. I use a variety of techniques that I use here , among other thick media. After dyeing the baby is sealed and is therefore smudge , scratch and shock resistant. The eyelashes are always rooted. The painting is painted in many layers of loving me. For the filling, I use only non-toxic materials , such as vinyl pellets , steel shot or mineral granules. And of course baby cotton wool. GORGEOUS Prototype baby Friday by Lorraine Yophi brought to “life” by the very talented Staci Carey!!! This baby is listed as used, however she is BRAND NEW. I just received her a few days ago and have only handled her to take pictures. Due to family finances I must let her go. Frida has soft beautiful AA ethnic skin tones that the artist has perfected. She was painted with Genesis Heat set paints and sealed with a matte varnish to protect her paint. Her little fingernails and toenails have been tipped and sealed. She is 18 long and weighs just over 5 lbs. Frida has FULL vinyl limbs on a soft weighted doe suede body. She has extremely realistic hand painted hair and hand rooted eyelashes. She takes a magnetic pacifier as well. Frida wears size Newborn or 0-3 month clothing. She will come home with all of the outfits that the artist sent me. Since she is a prototype, the C. Thank you so much dear Melody Hess for this. Opportunity and you confident at my work! 1,5 kg aprox. Baby Emalyn is NOT a toy so she’s not suitable for children. She’s a heirloom collection piece and she has to be handle with care. All my babies come from a smoke and pets free home. I’ve been a professional fashion doll “repaint”/doll face painting artist since 2005, and started making reborn in 2015. A realistic fresh newborn looking baby skin using genesis heat set paints and sealers. This baby has a realistic coloring of a new born baby. Several thin layers of colours were applied in order to create rich realistic beautiful translucent skin tones with intricate veins, mottling, subtle blushing and tonal variation. The finish is a varnish which is a protection against abrasion and UV light gives the skin a very fine structure. I give all my babies a final layer of mediums in order to prevent sheens and protect paint and vinyl, and provides a soft dewy finish. The eyebrows were very realistic, too. Rooting hair took times weeks and weeks, the hair is rooted ONE BY ONE. This method creates the best result, because the hair looks like “grown”, very realistic. Hair was rooted with high quality mohair Slumberland, in dark brown, the hairline is so soft. So please be careful! Gently style her hair carefully. Eyelashes was rooted nicely. She has doe suede body with the filling of only glass beads & NO sand ever used. Her head, arms and legs were filled. Glass beads and and. Her little head needs to be supported like a real baby. Use ALL NEW materials. All photography taken in natural daylight with professional lenses at various times of the day over the course of. Several days in different lighting conditions. Please note that each monitor will produce different color variances. This is one of a kind doll artwork painted for ADULT collectors &. Created in non smoking & pet free environment. This adorable reborn baby boy has been carefully brought to life using many layers of heat set genesis paints. These paints are permanent and very durable. I have spent many hours creating his realistic baby skin tone. He has full arms and 3/4 legs on a custom made body. I have glossed his face where moisture is necessary. He is weighted to feel as a real baby would, I have not weighted his head – so that he can hold it up, like a real baby at that age. His nails have been tipped and sealed so they look freshly manicured. I have painted the hair on this baby using different colors built up in layers. I have also added a texture medium for extra realism. Painted hair does not require any maintaining – it will always stay looking the same. He can wear 12 month sized baby clothes.
