He/She was weighed using tiny glass beads and premium poly fill to weigh like a real baby. The baby has full legs and and arms, has a cloth body (baby can NOT be submerged in to water). The babys nostrils have been shaded and glossed as have the lips and nails. The hair is painted with several shades of brown/black. The eyelashes have been rooted with dark brown mohair. Also a varnish has been applied to protect the paint and help prevent shininess. Painted in several layers and baked at high temperature. Does not use Heat Set Matte Varnish, that why the “skin” is smooth to the touch. Baby is made of vinyl (head, hands and legs), the torso is cloth. The doll is not made of silicone!!! Head: the head should be held as with a real baby…… Arms : full Legs: full Body : beige torso made of solid material with no joints. The head and limbs are filled with glass microgranules and a silicone ball (wadding). The baby will come with. Magnetic pacifier or no magnetic pacifier. Certificate of birth. Hats and outfits made of wool, dressing-gown, all kinds of fur, blankets, pillows and other materials in the photos toys, teddy bears, decorations, flowers. All these are just decorations. Reborn Marley by Cassie Brace For Adoption By HappyGumdrops =
HappyGumdrops here to bring to a new baby Marley by Sculptor Cassie Brace and painted by me. Please read the details below. Also please look over this baby carefully. I have included a picture of this baby’s left big toe that has a small booboo that I fixed with vinyl putty. There was a manufacturing issue and the vinyl had a small bubble that perforated while baking. I did not notice the bubble upon initial inspection of the kit but I believe it expanded with each bake of the paint. I filled it up midway through painting. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done other than fixing it. The spot is barely noticeable now and should not cause any problems for the life of the doll. This baby can come home as either a boy or a girl. Kit: Marley by Cassie Brace. Artist: Shaleah Shaw (HappyGumdrops). Weight: 4lbs (this baby is small yet chunky, kind of like a NICU graduate baby) weighted with premium glass beads and polyfil. Limbs: Full arms and full legs. Body: Doe swede cloth body not jointed. Paints and Varnishes: GHS paints and GHS varnish mixture for a matte finish. Hair: Painted hair with swirl. Rooted lashes with HP babylocks straight mohair dark brown. They don’t open at all. Reborn Cuddle Baby Alexis Asleep (sculpted by Cassie Brace)
Reborn Cuddle Baby Alexis Asleep (sculpted by Cassie Brace) with Bountiful Baby Cloth Body & Silicone Baby Fat – Reborn by Katie Gannon of Yorkshire Rose Reborns. He’s been with me since he was created and I have taken excellent care of him. He has not been exposed to direct sunlight or heat. On the few occasions where I changed his clothing he was dressed from the feet upwards to avoid fabric being pulled over his face. I collect different types of dolls and treat them like works of art. He comes from a non-smoking household. Alexis is 21 long and weighs 6lbs (approximately). Alexis is a cuddle baby which means he has a vinyl head and a full disc jointed flesh coloured Bountiful Baby cloth body. This means he is super cuddly, yet still has the weight of a newborn. Alexis has rooted lashes and painted hair and is painted with Genesis heat set paint and sealed with matt heat set varnish, then finished with air dry gloss on the lips, nostrils and corners of the eyes to give a moisture look. All Katie’s Reborns are filled with high quality fine glass beads and extra soft Angel Silk. In addition, Alexis is filled with a high quantity of silicone baby fat. The silicone is situated in his limbs, bottom and stomach which makes him an extra cuddly cuddle baby. Alexis has a small defect inside of his mouth which occurred during the moulding and pouring process. The mouth is deep which makes it dark inside, thus making the defect difficult to see in most lighting. Katie has taken pictures so you can see for yourself. Alexis takes a modified dummy/soother. This is a regular dummy with a portion of the teat removed to fit in his mouth. He has no magnets due to him being an open mouthed sculpt. Alexis comes home in his original dungarees outfit along with a blanket, nappy, dummy and cuddly toy. Also included is his Yorkshire Rose Reborn certificate. Other clothes in the photos are not included but I have a collection of good quality clothing for him in 0-3 month size. If you need any further information or photos, please let me know.
