On the day 31/05/2018 a warm bundle fell in the cradle.. 2.150 Kg / 4 lbs 50 cm / 20 in Edwin by Elisa Marx. Hand painted with Genesis heat set paints – Sealed with Matte Varnish – Full vinyl arts – Jointed cloth body – Micro-rooted eyelashes, color baby brown – Painted hair, color baby brown – Filled with special glass beads and polyfill (NO SAND). I realized Paolo taking care of the smallest details, from the 3D effect of the skin, veins and small capillaries under the skin until the redness and scratches characteristic of infants. He has even some birthmarks in the shape of a heart and fine capillaries also in the ears! The nails of the hands and feet are painted just like that of a real baby. He has even the milk spots on the nose! I painted the thin Paolo’s hair one by one, layer upon layer, in order to reproduce the movement of the hair of a real baby. I remove the magnet on request – Birth Certificate. And I won the Best Reborn Painting. NB: she isn’t a game! The reborn doll was made by me with the heart, was born after many hours of work, attention to details, to look like as much as possible to a real baby. At 19 in length from head to toe she is the size of a small newborn. This cutie pie is probably as close to a real baby as you will ever get and is so beautifully soft and cuddly she just melts in your arms! I have fallen in love with this delightful baby girl, please enjoy looking at her photos which show as much detail as possible. To create Mary’s beautiful skin tone, I used my special painting technique which allows the multi tonal layers of Genesis heat set paint to absorb right into the vinyl. This has given this baby a skin tone so real it is just like that of a real infant! Subtle tones, delicate shading and veining and tiny capilliaries detailed in all the right places give this baby an amazingly realistic and translucent skin tone. Mary’s supersoft and exceptionally fine hair has been directionally microrooted – the effect is stunning and is just like looking at a real baby’s head of hair! I have used the most beautiful super soft, fine and silky medium brown mohair from Delta Dawn in the USA. Mary and Marc are pictured together below… But Marc is available in a separate listing! Mary’s full arms and legs have been perfectly weighted with ultra fine glass beads (so there is no crunch when you gently squeeze her limbs) and then topped with fiber fill. They are attached to a soft’made to measure’ open/unjointed body. Her head has been weighted so you will have to support her head just as you would for a real baby. I have made the soles of Mary’s feet and his hands a healthy pinkish colour, just as you would see in real babies. Mary’s nose has been shaded inside the nostrils for depth, and I have also added a little moisture to the corner of her eyes and nose. I have also paid great attention to each one of her tiny finger and toe nails which have been coloured, sealed and tipped. I take great pride in my handmade items and really hope you have a great experience with me… The Baby Doll Maker. This listing is for 1 Baby Doll. Awake Baby Girl. She will fit perfectly in Early-Tiny baby clothing. She will Weigh approx – 4lb. I Lightly paint my dolls using the same techniques and paint mix of genesis heat set paints. (These paints are non toxic and will not fade or rub off as I heat set each part). I then hand Paint hair which also gets heat set and hand root eyelashes which are sealed inside to prevent them falling out for open eyed dolls I use a special craft glue to secure lashes. Each doll gets weighted evenly with glass beads in limbs, head and bottom to around 4lbs. And stuffed with soft Fibre Fill ready for a cuddle. These dolls have 3/4 limbs which get sewn on to a soft cloth body with a zip tie to secure the weighted head. You will need to support the baby doll when holding her/him like you would a real baby. I fit a Magnet in each of my baby dolls heads to enable a magnetic dummy to hold against dolls mouth. (if no magnet is required please message at checkout – these strong magnets are not suitable to be around people with pacemakers). Kits have been safety tested prior to the reborning process and conformed to EU standards. I have new and repeat customers worldwide and of all ages. Please keep in mind that if adopting for a younger collector that he/she will contain small parts and supervision is recommend. Each of these dolls will come home with..
