Horsman Baby Doll 18 Winnie The Poo Outfit 1960’s Blonde Hair All Vinyl SO CUTE
I SELL ONLY WITHIN THE U. I’m offering today an adorable, all vinyl Horsman baby doll, circa 1960’s era. She measures approximately 18″ long and is hallmarked on the back of the neck “Horsman, 8200. She is fully jointed at the neck, arms and legs, which allows so many different poses. She has a bent leg style baby body with bent baby legs, but can still stand quite well. Her pale blonde hair is most desirable with these Horsman dolls and looks ever so sweet! I will start at the top of her head and work my way down so as not to omit anything in my description. Starting at the top of her head. She has pale blond hair, which is cut into a baby cut with bangs and small flip in the back. She is wearing a custom made hairband, which I created out of pale yellow flowers and a large yellow satin bow. Making these hair bands is quite time consuming, but I think after she’s put together, it’s well worth all the effort and time. By making these custom made hair bows, it fits the doll’s head perfectly and you don’t have to worry about it falling off. You go down to her face, she has beautiful sky blue open and close sleep eyes which open and close freely. She has her original thick eyelashes which were spared the scissors by her many other little mommies over the years. Sometimes little mommies love to trim the eyelashes and the hair, but this one did not have hair missing, thank goodness. She has a dainty petite nose with open nostrils for realism, which flows down to her precious open mouth. There is a hole in the mouth for giving a bottle to, but I have no idea if it works or not. I do not give my old dolls water or liquids for fear of doing something I shouldn’t have done. I’ll leave that up to her new mommy. Her face coloring is so pretty and just as I said above, an absolutely adorable baby doll from the 1960’s era. Since this little girl had such a whimsical face and with that gorgeous blonde hair, I wanted to dress her in something as spectacular and as whimsical as she is. I went through all my old vintage doll clothes and found several dress I considered, but was not happy with any of them. Therefore, I hopped in my car and went to my favorite baby shop and found this adorable Winnie the Poo two piece outfit. The pale yellow cotton fabric has Winnie the Poo and Tigger looking up at the bee swirling around them and the saying on the front reads: “Bee as sweet as can Bee”. I added elastic around the neckline so the top won’t fall off her shoulders and remains securely in place when it is snapped up the front. Since I knew she was going to be wearing a tutu, I decided to shorten the top a bit and ruffle the fabric so it would lay over the very full tutu. It turned out exactly as I had envisioned it. The pants have Winnie the Poo and Tigger printed over the entire surface of the pale yellow fabric. The pants come down to about ankle length, which allows her precious hand made pale yellow booties to show. I put wide yellow satin ribbon through the booties and tied big yellow bows on top for added cuteness. To top off this precious outfit, I added a very full tutu. She will be bringing her Bunnies by the Bay baby duck to keep her company. My dolls are not played with by children who come and visit; I know that sounds mean, but sometimes they play too rough. My dolls are kept in a doll room specifically for them and are displayed for everyone to enjoy. All my dolls are truly loved and cared for as though they were my children. Their clothes are either original to the doll, made by me, or I’ve tried finding doll clothing from the same era as the doll or find clothing which match the personality of the doll. We do not smoke and I try very hard to keep a tidy clean home free of dust and odor. Depending on how old they are, I do try to be honest in detailing if some of the dolls have bruises, missing toes or fingers or other issues, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth having; for each one is like children….. They are all beautiful in their mothers eyes. If I’ve missed something it would never be intentional. This vintage baby doll is a larger doll measuring approximately 18 tall. This doll is vintage, but in what I would consider good condition. Her body has been cleaned and sanitized. Her eyes do open and close freely. She has all her fingers and toes. This outfit has not been worn by another doll. It is free of odors, rips or tears. Her yellow booties are hand made and were made for this sweet baby doll. The photos really tell the story about this doll. She is a beautiful doll and one of a kind. Please view complete set of photos for thorough description. I hope you can take a few minutes to look at my other dolls.
