Jul 19th Madame Alexander vintage 1950s Kelly baby doll 20 Marybel original tagged dress

We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1958 vintage Madame Alexander 20 complete hard plastic vinyl strung Kelly doll. She is lovely for display and is still nicely strung. You may want to have her restrung eventually. You can see she was able to stand with assistance of a doll stand, which we will not include. Her arms do not hold a pose. Her legs are loose. She can hold her head without drooping. She displays nicely in her custom made, original, and tagged blue dress. Her dress and panties are bright and attractive clothes with well attached buttons on the dress. You can see her panties snap at the waist, and they show no wear, discoloration, or age. Her original socks are bright and white, but you can see somehow her socks are now mismatched. Her original black soft velvet Mary Jane shoes fit her well, and they are totally intact. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She is free of any odors, issues, or blemishes. Her honey color hair is still tied back in a replacement bow with a lovely style. Her hair is full with no missing plugs. Her face is an even color with a bright and even blush. Her sleep eyes open and close easily; they are unclouded with totally intact eyelashes. She shows no noticeable age or discoloration. The original adult owner enjoyed dressing and undressing the dolls in her collection. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows nothing detracting from her displayable condition. Her waist twists beautifully. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or obvious damage. She does not have any open seams or major noticeable detracting negatives. Her hair is uncut and close to the original style. We listed two other Edith/ Kelly/ Marybel face dolls this week from the same collection. She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Her lips are full and pink. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls from an adult lady collector. She is moving and downsizing her vast doll collection. Many of the these dolls are from the 1920s through the 1960s; they may show some minor age for their age because they are between 100 and 60 years of age. Many of these were from the original owner’s collection of displayed, but not played with, dolls. Some of the older dolls were from her mother’s collection. These are all from a pet and smoke free home. They were well preserved with no odors or major issues. Please write with any questions.
