African American reborn baby doll. The doll was made using the Realborn doll kit Christopher asleep. This doll was made with non-toxic paint and materials. The doll was free rooted by hand using black curly human hair. He will come with some hair care tips and products to maintain and style his human hair! Wears Newborn month sized clothing. The baby is weighted like a real baby and the head falls back like a real baby. The baby doll has 3/4 arms and 3/4 legs, and a cloth torso, this makes the baby very cuddly and lifelike. If you want the baby to come home with full arms and legs, let me know i’ll attach the full arms and legs that I already painted on the doll instead of the 3/4 arms and legs. The doll is 19 inches long. The doll comes home with some accessories and a certificate of authenticity. He has many details including Mottling, veining, creasing, darkened nose, darkened forehead and ears, tipped nails, glossed nails and lips. He also has a textured forehead to mimic newborn babies dry skin. When the doll is in hot places he may initially feel “sticky” but he’s not sticky he just has textured skin! If the doll gets wet it will turn white, if this happens leave the doll to dry for 30 mins and the head will return back to its normal color. Do not submerge in water. Reborn Dottie by Adrie Stoete, 18 4 Lbs. 1 Oz. COA
Baby Dottie is from a new sculpt by the late Adrie Stoete. She’s 18 inches and weighs 4 pounds and one ounce. She has full posable limbs and a posable head. Her hair is rooted and sealed and the barely there lashes are applied. I painted baby with Genesis paints giving her mottled skin, veins, blushing and shading. The last coat was a heat set protective varnish. She’s weighted with triple bagged fine glass beads and tiny steel beads. Her limbs are filled with the glass beads and a poly filling and her head and torso are stuffed with the poly filling also. She has a magnet for her pacifier. I dressed her in a diaper. An under shirt, a hand made white dress and a hand made crocheted dress, diaper cover, head band and booties. She wears size newborn. All clothing items are new. She’ll come to you with her things and securely packed. I have a non smoking, 2 cat friendly home. A box opening will come with her.

Reborn 21 The Ashton-Drake Michael, The Little Slugger Baby Doll as Michaela
“Michael, The Little Slugger”. Originally Sculpted by Bonnie Chyle. This little sweetness is Michaela who has been reborn from The Ashton-Drake “Michael, The Little Slugger” originally. Sculpted by doll artist Bonnie Chyle. She has been repainted and new pale blonde mohair rerooted. The hair is not as dense as I would’ve liked but it looks good on her when you look at her. She is approximately 21 in length. She has big gorgeous blue eyes. Her vinyl skin is pale in color. She has vinyl head, full legs, and full arms with a cloth weighted body. E wears an adorable gingham and horse print dress and bloomers with matching headband. All of her all outfit has been adorned with red and white clay polymer roses (take care when cleaning; not to get wet). She also has a white and red crocheted bonnet and set of booties. She has a fresh baby powder scent. This adorable baby has been altered and is USED so see pictures. Repainting and rerooting has been done. Rerooting is not professional. Please examine the photos carefully as they are part of the description! Use the zoom feature, get a really good look! I never use stock photos. What you see really is what you get! I do NOT usually undress the dolls, so I do NOT always know the condition of the body underneath the clothing. Undress them potentially messes up their hair and could cause damage to the clothing or body. I did check this baby once upon a time though and she was fine but that has been years ago but from what I see, she seems to be ok. Doll was part of an adult well-maintained doll collection. I do my best to describe what I see; but that said, I can miss things.

Reborn JADE by Romie Strydom
This beautiful, playful-looking baby girl is an authentic reborn Jade doll as sculpted by Master Artist Romie Strydom. Romie’s name and the name of the sculpt are impressed in the neck of the doll. Jade was made specially for my friend and fellow collector Kathy G by long-time reborn artist Cathy King (Cazubi). On 1/16/2014 Jade was delivered directly to me from Kathy, who treasured and cared for this baby doll, as have I. Although she is a sleeping baby, Jade is definitely a happy girl, judging from the sweet smile on her face. I’ve often displayed her with a doll of similar size in play positions, letting my imagination see her as being tickled, and therefore awake but with her eyes closed as she giggles. Jade is a sweetheart of a baby doll; cuddly yet independent, as expressed through her arm and hand positions. That sweet smile is worth at least 1000 words! I’ve carefully changed Jade’s clothes about a dozen times through the years that I have been her caregiver. She is a 23-inch handmade doll with a blushed, light complexion and wears sizes 3-6 months and 6 months baby clothing. She has been kept in a darkened display cabinet to preserve her hair color and cleanliness. Her micro-rooted, slightly wavy, full brown hair is styled in a simple baby cut that adds so much to her realism. Jade’s painted vinyl has the most detailed appearance that I have seen thus far. Her life-like sculpt was greatly enhanced by Cathy King through the use of Genesis heat-set paints and sealants. Because the veining and many layers of color are below the surface, it is difficult to capture on camera what the human eye can see. I’ve done my best to show you a good likeness of Jade as she would appear in your home, as well as in bright sunlight. Her vinyl head, bent full legs and 3/4 arms are attached to a faux doe-suede body sleeve that remains in excellent condition. Jade is suitable for adult collectors aged 17 years and up. I used natural light from an east-facing window as the light source on a mostly cloudy, over-cast day. The photos of Jade in a variety of outfits were taken over time, using natural light from a window at 10-15 feet distant. The darker photos were taken at night with room lighting, no flash. Jade will arrive with her authentic COA signed and numbered by Romie Strydom (see photos) and her “Birth Certificate” signed by Cathy King. These documents will be inside a special folder created by Cathy King for those of us who watch over her babies. Several other items, including a light-weight blanket, stuffed toy, extra outfits, a magnetic pacifier, hair decorations, socks and shoes will be packed with bubble-wrapped Jade as space allows. I have a smoke-free home and one 20lb dog who is separated from the dolls, yet the possibility of a stray dog hair arriving with Jade is inevitable. Thank you for visiting Jade’s listing.
