Josephine is a limited edition sculpt by master Sculptor Cassie Brace. She has been brought to life using Genesis heat set paint in many layers to give them a very detailed and realistic skin tone. She has painted hair, using a number of different dark brown and almost black paints to give it depth and realism. She has fine rooted lashes and lightly painted brows. She is filled with fine glass beads, each limb is filled and there’s a secured glass filled bag inside the body and head. This creates the heavy and floppiness feeling of a real baby, then stuffing is added to make her soft and snuggly. Josephine weighs 5lb 2oz and is 18 long Josephine is a twin and her sister Genevieve can be found on another listing. Each baby comes with a tummy plate and a dummy (Genevieve contains a magnet in her closed mouth for a magnetic dummy whereas Josephine can take a modified cut down dummy in her open mouth) They also come with several outfits and extras plus their certificates. Note that they have a slight flaw that isn’t noticeable but worth mentioning, they both have a slight dry patch where the matte varnish was applied before their hair. The hair hides it well but this flaw is reflected in the price. All artwork is completed by myself, each baby is created by hand with dedication and hard work.
