Baby Julien was made from the “Julien” Sculpt by Elisa Marx, and was brought to life by me. He is painted with many thin layers of GHS paints to achieve his delicate and lifelike newborn skin. He has many tiny details, such as veins, a little stork bite, capillaries, and delicate eyebrows. His hair has been painted ONE stroke at a time, and is so detailed and subtle like baby peach fuzz. He also has light brown rooted eyelashes. He has a doe suede cloth body that is weighed with glass beads and polyfill to give him a realistic weight of about 4-5 pounds. He is sooo cuddly too! She will come home with new clothes, shes wearing a old dress she wont be coming with that, I will send her with new stuff. My name is Mary Lamb, the artist for Maryslittlelambs Nursery. I have been reborning for over four + years. Painted drawn plus mohair overlay on Vivienne you will see some drawn hair. If you need more pics of hands and feet or body let me know. My Reborns are painted in layers of Genesis heat set paints, usually 15 to 20 layers of heat set Genesis paint. They have full limbs unless otherwise noted. All my babies lengths range from 17-23.. If they have eyes I use only the best glass eyes by lausha from Germany. My mohair is from Slumberland or Delta Dawn Kid hair and Alpaca and yearling hair, also the eyelashes are rooted and the eyebrows are painted… All my newborns have many layers of mottling, veins, capillaries et.. The body is made from a doe suede body filled with pollyfill and fine glass beads. I never use sand. My reborn babies sometimes will have baby milia or acne and little scratches or birthmarks. There nails are painted and glossed and then tipped white to look like real nails. I usually will have a magnet for a pacifier but cannot guarantee them sometimes they fall out when your filling the head. My mohair is sealed from inside the head , if you brush there hair use a toothbrush and you can mist it with a spray bottle. The babies clothes are brand new. My babies do not have a scent because I get migraines and cannot put scent in my babies. Dont pass up this rare absolutely gorgeous baby. Baby’s skin tones have been achieved using Genesis heat set paints which will not fade or rub off. Many micro thin layers are used to build a wonderful textured appearance. There is no paint sat on the vinyl, it is cured so that only pigment remains. The creases and wrinkles are blushed to perfection. Baby has veining and capillaries, beneath the skin surface, adding to the true realism of this baby. There are slight blue undertones where the skin in normally thinner. Finished with a special mix of my own making I have given this baby textured skin so it is amazing lifelike. Baby’s little fingers and toenails have been lightly shaded, lighted tipped, and sealed with artist varnish. Baby’s lips have been realistically tinted and finished with a satin varnish to add just a touch of sheen. They look amazingly real. Filled with the heavy virgin fibre fill for a cuddly feel, and weighted with steel shot encased in a bag of fabric. The limbs are filled with the finest glass beads and top with fibrefill before before sealed. Baby has full arms and full legs. Amazingly real skin tones, Perfect-Pore technique.
