It is painted a little more dramatically, with visible reds and purples, with veins, mottling, and shading. This more “dramatic” painting tends to make the doll very realistic in photographs. Keep in mind it looks different in person than a softer painted doll. Facial details: There is a visible vein across his nose, which is visible in some of the pictures.
