Virtually every sweet baby fold, wrinkle and crease of the head, ears, eyes, nose, fingers, feet, and toes are captured with this technology. Then small details are carefully checked to assure the detail will transfer over beautifully into the vinyl. Then a 3D prototype print is created using one of the highest resolution 3D printers on the market today. From the 3d prototype print, the molds for the most perfect reborn artists’ canvas (the Realborn® vinyl doll parts) are created. This adorable reborn baby has been carefully brought to life using many layers of heat set genesis paints. These paints are permanent and very durable. I have spent many hours creating his realistic baby skin tone. He has full arms and full legs on a custom made body. I have glossed his face where moisture is necessary. He is weighted to feel as a real baby would. His nails have been tipped and sealed so they look freshly manicured. I have painted the hair on this baby using different colors built up in layers. I have also added a texture medium for extra realism. Painted hair does not require any maintaining – it will always stay looking the same. He can wear newborn sized baby clothes. He comes with all the new clothes seen in pictures and including, tummy plate (placed over cloth body for posing).
