Many micro thin layers are used to build a wonderful textured appearance. There is no paint sat on the vinyl, it is cured so that only pigment remains. The creases and wrinkles are blushed to perfection. Baby has veining and capillaries, beneath the skin surface, adding to the true realism of this baby. There are slight blue undertones where the skin in normally thinner. Finished with a special mix of my own making I have given this baby textured skin so it is amazing lifelike. Baby’s little fingers and toenails have been lightly shaded, lighted tipped, and sealed with artist varnish. Baby’s lips have been realistically tinted and finished with a satin varnish to add just a touch of sheen. They look amazingly real. Filled with the heavy virgin fibre fill for a cuddly feel, and weighted with steel shot encased in a bag of fabric. The limbs are filled with the finest glass beads and top with fibrefill before before sealed. Baby has full arms and full legs. Amazingly real skin tones. Painted hair so it always looks neat. CHILDS 1st REBORN BABY DOLL THIS IS A LOVELY CHILD FRIENDLY REBORN THE PERFECT BIRTHDAY CHRISTMAS GIFT. “We all love babies”. All our dolls are all hand made by Saxon Reborns. A long established UK Artist. She is 18 Inch (45cm) and fits into tiny 5lb baby clothes. She weighs approximately 4lb. I only use safe top quality virgin materials suitable for children. I DO NOT USE NASTY GLASS BEAD OR SAND! She has 3/4 length weighted vinyl arms and legs which are factory sewn and sealed to his weighted cotton doe non-disc jointed body for extra strength. Her weighted head is attached via zip/cable tie to his body through the neck bias on cotton doe body, again for extra strength. Her soft body makes for easy movement when holding and posing. She is weighted like a real new born and so therefore will need support when lifting, just like a real new born baby. Never pull, carry or swing your baby by the arms or legs as this can cause damage to stitching or joints. She feels just like your holding a real baby and you just won`t want to put her down. I have spent many hours, days painting this baby using a combination of air dry and GHS paints. The dolls have a bald head with several layers of paint that has been left to completely soak into the vinyl before heat sealing to create a lovely mottled realistic skin tones so no worry about hair shredding, matting or bald patches. The veins and the finger and toenails have been painted and moist look mouth for that natural look. COMING HOME LAYETTE Your baby will be coming home in a brand new nappy and the outfit as seen in the photo. (The outfit may vary slightly if stock runs out). A free magnetic dummy. A blank birth certificate (for you to add the name of your choice). And will be wrapped in a top quality baby shawl. Scented with baby powder fragrance and finished with sprinkles of love. CE Approved – NOT factory mass produced in China The doll kits we use are all hand made in an old fashioned way in a small old-fashioned factory in Spain and so they may have unique little quirks because of the process used. T here are 22 layers to human skin so I have painted her using many watery layers building up details such as subtle veining and mottling synthesising a circulatory pattern and translucence to her skin. I paint all my babies with Genesis Heat Set Paints This paint will never come off or fade. I have also added Genesis Heat Set Varnish so your baby won’t go shiny. The skins appears transparent and you can see the subtle veins through the mottled baby like skin tones. I have spent hours creating every possible detail, she even has milk dribble as if she has just had a feed. I have hand painted tiny capillaries and veins along with milk spots and all the tiny marks and scratches real babies have, even the little soles of the feet have not been forgotten, they are a healthy pinkish colour, just like a real baby. She was “adopted” at an estate sale and few details were available about her past. This offering is for a Precious Reborn Baby Girl Doll. She has nicely rooted curly blonde hair and blue eyes and an open mouth smiling expression – simply darling! She weighs approximately 4 lbs. And measures approximately 19 inches long. She is wearing an adorable outfit with matching hat and a disposable diaper. She has a HEDI / E. Knoops marking on the back of her neck. I believe that she is made from the “EVY” head mold. I do not know who the artist was for this baby. Her face and body are painted to look very lifelike indeed!
