This incredible, limited version (484/600) of Nikki Johnston’s Trouble is a one-of-a-kind reborn infant. He/she is a high quality, professionally made doll. This newborn is brand new, just received, arrived directly from the artist two weeks ago. This newborn looks incredibly life-like. Trouble is 18 1/2 inches long. He/she has full arms and full legs. Trouble weighs 4 lbs. Weighted like a real infant and his/her mobility mimics that of a genuine baby, head and limbs gently fall when not supported. This little one must be handled carefully, as a real baby would. Trouble has his/her own belly plate and is carefully handmade with details including the softest, micro rooted hair available. It even wisps with movement of air. His/her hair can be spritzed with water and gently styled with no worry of it coming out. It has been glued twice from the inside. Trouble has two hair colors, very light brown with blonde rooted within. Has barely-there, painted eyebrows (also in two colors) and rooted eyelashes to match the hair color. Trouble has been professionally painted with veining, shading, creasing, moist looking lips/eye creases/nostrils, rosy cheeks with the most delicate blood vessels, rosy knees and elbows, blushing hands and feet, sweet forehead veining between eyes, veining on inside of ears, milia (milk bumps) on nose, a perfect mole/freckle above ankle, tiny scratch on belly and hand , tiny blemishes on forehead/ cheeks/ arm, gentle blue hues, and has been sealed with layers of matte and satin effects to seal and protect his/her details. Trouble is fitted for a magnetic pacifier and also accepts a modified pacifier. He/she will come with a pacifier, ready for use and also a sealed reborn Nuk milk bottle. Trouble also comes with a. More photos On Friday. My name is Mary Lamb, the artist for Maryslittlelambs Nursery. I have repeat clients that love my work. Ive been reborning for over 5 years now. Some photos were before I added hair the last 2 photos I didnt have hair yet… I added hair all over her head, I painted first the hair then I added a overlay of hair and I used a special medium to hold sides and back and then let the crown flow freely. Her eyelashes are rooted and painted, and her brows were also drawn. My Reborn’s are painted in layers of Genesis heat set paints, usually 15 to 20 layers of heat set Genesis paint.. If they have eyes I use only the best glass eyes by lausha from Germany. My mohair is from Slumberland or Delta Dawn Kid hair and Alpaca and yearling hair, Troubles hair is drawn also has a little mohair on top , also the eyelashes are rooted and the eyebrows are painted… All my newborns have many layers of mottling, veins, capillaries et.. The body is made from a doe suede body filled with pollyfill and fine glass beads. I never use sand. My reborn babies sometimes will have baby acne. There nails are painted and glossed and then tipped white to look like real nails. The babies clothes are brand new. My babies do not have a scent because I get migraines and cannot put scent in my babies. Dont pass up this rare absolutely gorgeous baby. More pictures in a couple days. I’ve been a professional fashion doll “repaint”/doll face painting artist since 2005, and started making reborn in 2015. A realistic fresh newborn looking baby skin using genesis heat set paints and sealers. This baby has a realistic coloring of a new born baby. Several thin layers of colours were applied in order to create rich realistic beautiful translucent skin tones with intricate veins. Mottling, capillars, scratches and other skin details. Subtle blushing and tonal variation. The finish is a varnish which is a protection against abrasion and UV light gives the skin a very fine structure. I give all my babies a final layer of mediums in order to prevent sheens and protect paint and vinyl, and provides a soft dewy finish. The eyebrows were very realistic, too. Rooting hair took times weeks and weeks, the hair is rooted ONE BY ONE. This method creates the best result, because the hair looks like “grown”, very realistic. Hair was rooted with high quality mohair Slumberland, in dark brown, the hairline is so soft. So please be careful! Gently style her hair carefully. Eyelashes was rooted nicely. She has doe suede body with the filling of only glass beads & NO sand ever used. Her head, arms and legs were filled. Glass beads and and. Her little head needs to be supported like a real baby. Use ALL NEW materials. All photography taken in natural daylight with professional lenses at various times of the day over the course of. Several days in different lighting conditions.
