Hello, my name is Nola. Welcome to my nursery. Each baby is special and receives many hugs and pats before being sent to the new mommy. I hope you enjoy looking at their photos. Thank you for stopping by. Baby Piper started out as a kit by the amazing artist Andrea Arcello. She is # 39 of her edition. She has been completely reborn into a beautiful baby to be loved and cuddled. Please note she is not a toy and not recommended for children under the age of 14. She was painted and blushed using the Genises heat set paints to get that real baby color. If you look closely you will see faint veining. Her skin now has that soft dewy look of a real baby. All her little fingernails and toenails have that fresh clipped look. She looks so real you will catch yourself watching her for movement. Her nose was not opened but was shaded for a real appearance. She has a magnet for her paci. These magnets are very strong so please be careful around electronics and people with pacemakers. She has light brown painted hair. She has barely there brows and beautiful brown eyes. She was weighted using polyfill and glass beads. H She has full arms and legs which makes her so much fun to dress. She feels so real in your arms like a real baby. Her layette consists of a beautiful white with pink smocking dress, 3 piece sleeper set, white lace trimmed socks, white slippers, white sleeveless onesie, diaper and blanket of my choice. Beautiful reborn baby doll Avyanna/Progeria, Sculpted by Sherry Rawn, Piper
Hello, and welcome to my most challenging and most rewarding little darling, Avyanna. I chose the name Avyanna because of what it represents: strong, powerful, beautiful. This little angel was a heartfelt creation, long inspired by the children and families who have had to overcome the obstacles presented by the disease, Progeria. Reborning is an amazing, wonderful journey for all of the artists involved, and many of us are inspired by the children in the world. The many documentaries I have seen highlighting the lives of these children have forever touched my soul. Avyanna has over 30 layers of GHSP, allowing the realistic depth of her veining as well as her overall coloring. True to Progeria, she has no hair, eyebrows, or lashes, and her skin is somewhat translucent, reflecting the premature aging process resulting from the disease. I hope that Avyanna’s creation will make a small difference in the lives of the babies and children affected by Progeria. Avyanna will be going home with her silver rattle, angel wings, handmade outfit, lamb, bottle, personalized blanket, and more, making for an especially beautiful box opening.
